Ohio LB visits Iowa

After picking up interest from the Iowa coaching staff recently, Ohio linebacker Lavonte Robinson made an official visit with the Hawkeyes over the weekend. The 5-foot-11, 215-pound senior from St. Edward High School traveled to Iowa City with his mom and said they enjoyed their two-day stay on campus.

"It was great," said Robinson. "I loved it."

Also making his official visit this weekend was Robinson's high school teammate, Solomon Warfield, who has been committed to the Hawkeyes since June. The two friends had a chance to hang out with several of the current players and learn more about the football program and academics at Iowa.
