Spring break is now over and the Ohio State coaching staff has been extremely active already this week. The latest prospect to receive an offer from the Buckeyes is Glassboro (N.J.) running back Corey Clement. The 5-foot-11, 205-pound prospect got the word on Tuesday afternoon from his high school coach that the Buckeyes had thrown their hat into the ring.

"(An Ohio State) coach called my coach and then my coach revealed the great news to me," said Clement.

The Buckeyes had recently started to show interest in the standout running back and to land an offer was an exciting feeling for Clement.

"I was ecstatic but calm at the same time," he said. "It was just a happy moment to share along with my family and friends."

"I see myself fitting into Ohio State's offense," he told Farrell. "The first thing I see with them is their line. Of course, anywhere I go there will be competition."

The Ohio State offer is the fourth for Clement who had previously been offered by Florida State, Pittsburgh, and Rutgers. Clement is also generating serious interest from Miami (Fla.).

Clement is coming off an outstanding junior season for Glassboro High where he rushed for 2,510 yards and 34 touchdowns. Clement is currently rated a three-star prospect by and the No. 1 running back in the state of New Jersey by
