Houston eyeing Mountaineers

West Virginia has been searching for bigger running backs to fit the offensive scheme and a 238-pound fullback from Dublin (Oh.) Scioto is interested in the Mountaineers and recently paid a visit to Morgantown for spring practice.

William Houston, a Rivals.com three-star prospect and the No. 3 rated fullback, has one offer from Bowling Green but is receiving interest from a number of other schools including West Virginia, Ohio State, Northwestern, Missouri, Nebraska, Penn State and Indiana.

Son of the former Buckeye fullback of the same name, Houston plays the game with a very physical trademark brand of football. Last season he accounted for a total of 1,100 total yards and 17 touchdowns.
