With summer camps over and more commitments in place, Wisconsin has a better idea of what its 2014 recruiting class will look like. Over the next two weeks, BadgerBlitz.com will reanalyze UW's recruiting efforts with a position-by-position breakdown of targets to see how the Badgers will fill their 2014 recruiting class.
Today, we reexamine the wide receivers.
1. Last update: Badger Watch: Wide receivers (5/15/13)
2. What's happened since May?
Wisconsin's top target at the position, four-star Jalen Brown, was on campus in mid-June and gave positive reviews of his trip. The Badgers are currently in his top nine.
"They changed my outlook about Wisconsin," Brown told Rivals.com. "I had great talks with their coaching staff. It wasn't at all like what I thought it was. I was just going there because it was family and trying to see what it was like because I have family there.
"But when they showed me what they are trying to do and they showed me I was at the top of their boards, they changed my mind. They stood out for me."
UW also made the cut for Jamil Kamara and Cameron Phillips, as they trimmed their list to six and five, respectively. Both could visit Madison before the summer is over. One athlete who will almost certainly be visiting is Phillips' teammate, Chris Jones, who remains very interested in Wisconsin
The Badgers also extended offers to Adly Enoicy, Kenric Young and Greg Stroman -- Wisconsin sits well for all three. Wisconsin will likely have to beat out Virginia and Virginia Tech for Stroman and despite offers from across the country, Enoicy has been intrigued by Wisconsin's academics.
"Wisconsin has a good program," Enoicy told Rivals.com. "I looked up the top schools in the country for psychology and sociology. For psychology, they're in the top 10 and for sociology, they're in the top 15 or 20."
Young, meanwhile, just put Wisconsin in his top 15.
3. What happens next?
This position should receive some clarity before the summer is over. Kamara, Phillips and Jones all look poised to either trim their list further or even make a decision, so the Badgers will know about three of their top four targets sooner rather than later. Brown's recruitment looks like it may drag on a bit, but he is someone Wisconsin will save a spot for no matter what.
Enoicy (who could also project as a tight end), Young and Stroman are also players who could take visits to Madison, and Wisconsin's exact standing with each should become clear in the near future.
4. Class Prediction: Ultimately I think the DeMatha duo of Phillips and Jones join commit Taiwan Deal and end up at Wisconsin.
