With his brother already on the Wisconsin roster, 2014 offensive lineman Kory Kodanko made the trip to Madison for the Badgers' first spring practice last Saturday.
"It was a great practice and it's a great atmosphere there," Kodanko told BadgerBlitz.com. "I love the coaching staff and it's a great place to be.
"I haven't heard a ton from Wisconsin but I'm looking forward to hearing more from them. I'm still trying to get my name out there more."
Kodanko's brother, Riki Kodanko, is a walk-on lineman entering his redshirt junior season for UW. Riki has been a trusted resource early in the process.
"Him and I talk all the time and I look up to him," Kory said. "He's comfortable with whatever school I want to go to. I saw him go through the recruiting process and he's walking me through it. But like I said, it's still early and he understands where I'm at right now."
At 6-foot-9 and 342 pounds, Riki is very much a bigger brother physically in comparison to Kory, who is stands 6-foot-6 and 315 pounds.
"I'm still growing but I don't know if I'm going to be 6-foot-9," said Kory, from West De Pere High School. "That's kind of a long-shot right now. I hope I can get that tall but I'm not sure."
In addition to the Badgers, Kory is hearing from a handful of other teams but admits he's still in the early stages of his recruitment.
"It's really early but I've heard from a few Big Ten schools, a few schools in the SEC and some Ivy League schools because of my grades," he said. "I want to get out and make some visits but I think I'll have a better idea after the spring."
