The focus of the Assembly Hall shootout seems to be the players that have committed to the University of Illinois and how they fare in the event. On the other side of it are the players that are still recruiting targets of the Illinois coaching staff. With all of the scholarships currently accounted for in the classes of 2009 and 2010, the focus has been on the class of 2011 since the summer. One 2011 player that has been on the Illinois radar got a chance to showcase his skills on Saturday, and didn't disappoint.
