Credit Kerry Cooks for keeping the Wisconsin Badgers in the race for Mansfield (Texas) Summit three-star cornerback Terran Benton. The second-year assistant coach evaluated the 5-foot-11, 175-pounder, and he was the first to confirm Benton as a Division 1 prospect.

Now, the Badgers are battling for Benton with schools from the Big Ten and Big 12.

Wisconsin offered first and were followed by Iowa, Iowa State, Missouri and Kansas.
