Alvarez to meet recruits this weekend

Recruiting weekends are generally utilized for prospects who are still undecided about their college decision.
For Wisconsin, this weekend is much different. With Barry Alvarez heading the program until the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1, UW's athletic director will have a chance to rally the staff together and send a message to a number of currently committed prospects who are expected on campus starting Friday. A group that very much expected Bret Bielema to be the head coach for the Badgers during their four or five years on campus.
"We will have our recruiting weekend," Alvarez said at a press conference Thursday morning. "Most of the kids are coming in this weekend. I instructed the assistant coaches to put an emphasis on those commitments that we have, make sure that we hold our commitments. I will be involved in the recruiting weekend.
